Who are we? CYAN is a group of young adults, living and active within the Archdiocese of St. John’s who gather monthly to socialize, have fun, learn, hear good speakers, and grapple with challenging topics. You don’t have to come to every meeting. Come when you can. You’re always welcome.

 

In addition to our regular gatherings, we sometimes offer retreats, prayer gatherings or other events.

Confirmation Retreats for Teens

Many young people complete their Sacraments of Initiation at an early age. Parishes have preparation processes in place through their Family Catechetical Ministries to meet the needs of these families and young people. However, for any number of reasons (relocation or moving, scheduling, etc.), a young person may be in their teens and seek Conformation or Eucharist. The Archdiocesan Office of Evangelization and Catechesis offers support for such people. Throughout the year, a series of retreats will be offered so that teens from parishes throughout the Archdiocese can gather, learn and reflect together.
