Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) | 2 Days

This ASIST workshop is for parents and caregivers who want to feel more comfortable and competent in helping to prevent the immediate risk of suicide.

Workshop will address suicide crisis and participants will gain skills and knowledge in helping people with suicidal thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

This group will also cover the feelings and concerns following the death of a partner/spouse, how to meet the unique challenges, and how to transform the mourning process into the nurturing process and looking ahead.

ASIST is a program that not only saves lives—it changes them. In addition to the benefits of suicide intervention, many participants have reported improved listening and collaboration skills in their jobs and relationships after the workshop.

Learn suicide first aid. Reserve your seat for highly interactive, practical, practice-oriented workshop.
