Deidre Keating 

Deidre Keating M.Ed. (Couns. Psych) is a group facilitator, teacher, graduate student and writer.

Deidre is a knowledgeable and experienced group facilitator in the areas of self-empowerment, self-love, creativity, spirituality, and body positivity for women. She has facilitated groups throughout the community, including at the Ruah Counselling Centre (formerly the Family Life Bureau), the YWCA, the Lillie Centre, and the Women's Centre. She believes in the power of connecting with the self - body, mind, and spirit - and believes in helping women become aware of their own power and possibility.

Deidre has experience working as a French Immersion teacher at the Elementary and Junior High levels and believes in the power and potential of youth. She is presently completing two writing projects - her first novel, centering on mental health experiences of youth, and her Masters thesis, which focuses on women's experiences with their body.
