Robyn Hamlyn 

After graduating with her bachelors’ degree from Memorial University in 2005 (BA, MC,), Robyn completed a certificate in Substance Abuse Counselling at the University of the Fraser Valley, and her Master’s degree in counselling at the University of Athabasca.

Robyn’s experience has included working with young people in group homes and safe house environments, and working with adults with mental health concerns in the hospital setting. Currently, Robyn teaches psychology and counselling related courses at the college level, and also facilitates various group sessions at Ruah Counselling Center.

Robyn’s passion lies in spiritually sensitive counselling that focuses on empowering the client in a holistic manner. Robyn is continually inspired by the strength, resilience, and courage of the people she has encountered in her work, and is honored to journey with people during their challenging times.
