Gerard and Rita are two ordinary people that God has graced with extraordinary blessings.

Residing in St. John's, NL, Canada, this couple lead ordinary lives, Gerard running a construction business and Rita, a Special Education Teacher. This couple has been married for 26 years and are parents to one son, Andrew. This couple is a radical witness to the Almighty power of Jesus Christ and His Holy Mother. Through the powerful intercession of the Blessed Mother, this couple has been led into the reality that marriage is a divine plan and are striving to live out this plan in their day to day lives. They have discovered that this plan will guide couples towards a joy filled marriage. God has implanted in them an earnest desire to spread the message of hope and the sacredness of the covenant of marriage.

Founders of "Marriages for Mary", a retreat based ministry, offers the opportunity for couples to experience hope for renewal, restoration and joy filled marriages. Their hope is that married couples and couples preparing for marriage would come to know the beauty of this vocation, experience mystical oneness and to become a visible and radiant sign of God's Love in this darkened world.
