Appointment of Renewal Plan Coordinator

As you know, a key recommendation of the Renewal Implementation Plan was to retain, on staff, a Full Time Renewal Plan Coordinator. After an extensive interviewing and screening process, which included myself, Reverend Joseph Barton and Reverend Francis Puddister, we have retained the services of Mr. Peter Whittle.
Mr. Whittle has extensive communication, planning and policy background with over 30 years’ experience in the fields of event planning, strategic planning, research, public relations, project management and social media. His experience, as an active member in a number of Parishes and several Archdiocesan Committees, will be an asset as we move forward.
Mr. Whittle will report and be accountable to me for broader policy and planning direction and to Mr. Vince Withers, our resource person and Chair of Renewal Planning Implementation Committee for day–to–day planning activities. As project coordinator, Mr. Whittle will be expected to work with Renewal Plan Implementation Committee (RPIC), Clergy and our Archdiocesan Committees ensuring that we work collaboratively as a team in the best interest of our Archdiocese.
This is an important first step in what will be a long journey to renew our Archdiocese and I remain very confident that working together, we can achieve a successful and sustainable outcome.
