Dear Faithful of the Archdiocese,
I am pleased to be welcoming to the Archdiocese Father Cosmas Chukwuemeke Iweru, S.D.V. Father Cosmas is a member of the Nigerian Delegation of the Society of Divine Vocations. He arrived in Canada on February 13th and had been staying with the Regional Director of his Society, Father Anthony Nwoko, at St. Patrick’s Parish in Carbonear.
I have spoken with Father Jerome Hann and he has agreed to have Father Cosmas stationed with him as Associate Pastor for a period of enculturation and mentoring.

Father Cosmas’ appointment as Associate Pastor of St. Edward’s Parish in Kelligrews and St. Thomas of Villanova in Manuels officially began, Tuesday March 5th.
Please join with me in making Father Cosmas welcome in our archdiocese and in praying for God’s blessings upon him as he begins his pastoral ministry here.
