Holocaust Memorial Service – Sunday, May 7th at 3:00 pm in the Bruneau Centre Auditorium (IC2001) on the Memorial University Campus.

Organized by Beth El Synagogue and the Jewish Community Havura, the Holocaust Memorial Service commemorates the Warsaw Ghetto uprising and the six million Jews and countless others who perished in the Holocaust.   This year is the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising and the first time in three years that we have been able to mount a service.  To mark the occasion, we will be having a special guest, Pinchas Gutter, speak about his experience via Zoom.  Mr. Gutter was in the Warsaw ghetto as a young boy and is a survivor of several camps and a death march from Colditz, in Northern Germany, to Terezin, in the Czech Republic.

Please join us to hear Mr. Gutter’s story and say, as we have said, year after year, never again.   You can RSVP by replying to holmemserv@gmail.com.
