Please remember in your prayers His Grace, Archbishop James H. MacDonald who died May 30, 2025 in Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital in St. Catherines, Ontario.
Archbishop MacDonald was the ordinary of this Archdiocese from February of 1991 until his retirement in January of 2001. He celebrated his 100th birthday on April 28th.
Archbishop MacDonald’s funeral will take place at St. Kevin’s Church in Welland, Ontario at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday June 7th.
Please pray for him that he may receive the reward of a good and faithful servant, and pray for the grace of God’s consolation for his family and the members of his Religious Community, the Congregation of the Holy Cross.
