Week of Prayer Service for Christian Unity 2023. Sponsored by the St. John’s and Area Council of Churches, an Ecumenical Worship Service will take place at 2: 30 P.M on Sunday, 22 January. This Service tales place at The Crossing Church (Baptist), 314 Topsail Road, St. John’s NL. Focused on the theme “Do Good, Seek Justice” (Isaiah 1:17), the homilist/preacher for this occasion is The Rt. Revd. Sam Rose (Anglican bishop). The Offertory collection/donations from this Service will be presented to the Fiona Recovery Fund. Through our common Christian commitment to justice and mercy and our ecumenical encounters may our hearts be converted so “all may be one.”
