The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is a well established global ecumenical observance which is the northern hemisphere is held annually from January 18^th to 25^th.  During this period Christians of all denominations and ecclesial communities are invited to pray for the unity of all the baptized; to meditate together on Sacred Scripture; to participate in jointly-organized worship services; and to undertake together acts of charity and fellowship.  This year the St. John’s and Area Council of Churches invites you to the that annual Prayer Service for Christian Unity which will be hosted at St. Teresa’s Church, 120 Mundy Pond Road in St. John’s at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 21^st.  All are welcome.
