Welcome to Fr. Ciro Perez C.Ss.R, appointed the new Pastor at St. Teresa’s Parish by Archbishop Hundt September 1, 2019.  Fr. Ciro comes from Bucaramanga, Colombia.  His immediate family consists of his parents, as well as 2 sisters and 3 brothers, all of whom live in Colombia. Father entered the seminary after high school, and was ordained a priest 19 years ago.  He studied 4 years of philosophy and 4 years of theology while in the seminary. He has worked for 8 years in both rural and urban missions in Colombia before beginning ministry in Canada 10 years ago. In Canada he was the Pastor of the Hispanic Community in Saskatoon .  He then served 5 years as Pastor of St. Mary’s Parish, Saskatoon. We pray for God’s blessings in his new Ministry.
