Cemetery Liturgy Services 2025
The dates of liturgy services for Cemeteries that are managed by the Archdiocese of
St. John’s for 2025 are scheduled as follows:
Gate of Heaven Cemetery Tuesday, June 24 th at 7:00pm
Kilbride Cemetery Tuesday, July 1 st at 7:00pm
Mt. Carmel Cemetery Tuesday, July 8 th at 7:00pm
Belvedere Cemetery Tuesday, July 15 th at 7:00pm
Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Tuesday, July 22 nd a t 7:00pm
In the event of inclement weather, the service will be held in the following churches on
the same evening and at the same time
Gate of Heaven Cemetery - Our Lady, Queen of Families Parish Ashford Drive (Mt. Pearl)
Kilbride Cemetery - St. Teresa’s Parish Mundy Pond Road (St. John’s)
Mt. Carmel Cemetery - St. John the Baptist Basilica Parish Military Road (St. John’s)
Belvedere Cemetery - St. John the Baptist Basilica Parish Military Road (St. John's)
Holy Sepulchre Cemetery -St. Teresa’s Parish, St. John the Baptist Basilica Parish, Our lady Queen of Families

Pray for the Dead
Please pray for those who have died in Christ and are buried in the cemeteries within the Archdiocese of St. John’s:
Our sisters and brothers have gone to their rest in the peace of Christ. May the Lord now welcome them to the table of God’s children in heaven. With faith and hope in eternal life, let us assist them with our prayers.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord.
May they rest in peace.
May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed,
Through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
