This annual community vigil is held to remember those who died by suicide and to support survivors of suicide loss. Due to COVID-19, we will be hosting the vigil virtually from St. Mark’s Anglican Church. Join us as we livestream to remember family, friends, and colleagues through poems, prayers, candle lighting and music by Shelley Neville and Peter Halley.
To include the name of the person(s) you are remembering in the vigil, please send the first and last name of your loved one/friend to Kim at kakelly@mun.ca. All names submitted by midnight on December 12th will be read aloud during the candle lighting.
To include a photo of your loved one/friend in the slideshow please send your photo and name of your loved one to Kim at kakelly@mun.ca or Juanita at juanita.marie.simmons@gmail.com. The photos (photos only, no names) will be displayed to music by Judy Brazil and Shannon Power. All photos submitted by midnight on December 9th will be included in the photo slideshow.
The vigil is open to all regardless of faith! All are welcome to join us in this virtual forum. Everyone should be remembered!
