The Diocese of Antigonish extends a warm welcome to all participants, presenters and vendors attending the bi-annual conference of the Atlantic Catechetical Association. This year’s conference is entitled The Spirituality of the Catechist: Growing In Faith.

The vocation of catechist originates from the Word; we teach the Good News. As we do so we invite others to join us. Lead children, young people and their families in prayer and build community through the many relationships we cultivate with other parish ministries and the broader faith community.

These many facets of the catechist are articulated and informed by our relationship with God - a spirituality we reflect within our vocation. Sr. Janet will guide us as we deepen our appreciation of the Spirituality of the Catechist and how it nourishes our growth in faith.
