Transfigured For Mission

Father Michael Kelleher, CssR., a Redemptorist priest from Limerick, Ireland will be at St. Edward's Parish,  56 Long Shore Rd, Conception Bay South, Kelligrews for a Parish Mission

A mission is an opportunity for a parish to experience in a heightened and intense way spiritual services, homilies, and Sacraments focusing on the major themes of our faith.

Fr. Michael is a Redemptorist priest. He professed vows in 1986 and was ordained in 1991. He comes to us from Limerick, Ireland, where he was born and currently serves.He has studied in Cork, Galway, Dundalk, Dublin and Rome.He has always been a missionary, at home and abroad. He has lived and worked in Ireland, Italy, Brazil, Albania and China.Fr. Michael has preached parish missions, worked in Youth Ministry, in administration (he served two terms as Provincial of the Irish Redemptorists) and in support of peace and reconciliation ministry in Northern Ireland, Mozambique and Colombia.

Date: March 12 - 15, 2017

Each day there will be:                                                                                                                                 

  • there will be a Mission talk by Fr. Michael each night at 7:00 p.m.
  • Masses for that week will take place at 12 NOON followed by a lunch and discussion, Question-Answer Session with Father Michael.
